If that's the motor that belongs to the car, then the car is 1938 Eight (aka "120"), a member of the "junior" series of Packards. The vehicle # from the cowl plate would confirm, if you have it.

Are you joshing up when speaking of value? Value can be a tough thing to ascertain, but financing golden years? I'd venture that it would have a hard time financing a golden weekend, certainly not much more.
