Another piece of data would be the volume of fluid expelled in a single average length stroke on the BTV vs the amount on a 3/4 or 13/16" cylinder. If you would post the number of small cylinder you found, might be worth a shot to see if one could be found cheaply enough to try & see the volume and what happens.
