Re: Cheap Heater Hose Clamps

If you work on cars regularly you'll want a pair of professional-type pliers for Corbin clamps. K-D and others make them and they are reasonably priced. The type I prefer has swiveling heads with multiple grooves for different diameter wire, and a locking pawl and ratchet to hold the clamp open while you position it. The convenience of them over the 30 or more years you're likely to be using them makes the cost well worthwhile. If you're a flea market scrounger you're likely to find them for $2 or $3.
