"Transformer" available to jump 6 volt car with 12 volt battery ?

51 Packard with 6 volt positive ground.

Is it possible to make/buy a device that converts 12 volts to 6 volts to use with jumper cables to jump start my Packard from a "regular" 12 volt negative ground car ?
