Ok, Im going to try to answer all the questions if i forget anyhing just let me know.

About 30 years a go a friend of my grandfather had an old logging camp about 15 or so miles in the woods. Now back then mind you these were dirt superhighways, now its passable by jeeps or 4 wheelers only (my ranger because its lifted).

They would pick up beat cars like this Packard (there's also a Merc pickup sitting next to it 40s 50s maybe, and possibly a Chrysler so im told yet to be spotted)and basically use them as service trucks for the machinery. When the cars would eventually shit the bed because of the woods roads they would leave them where they sat.

"I presume this to mean you'd haul the whole hearse out of the woods, is that right?"
- yes if its worth the trouble but its been sitting on the
drivers side for maybe 30 years. there are trees but
they're no match for my Jonsered.

"Be aware that you are looking at over 1,000 lbs in weight for the drive train alone."
- 10,000 lb winch bolted to the front of my ranger and a
block and tackle in a tree should do the trick once
its out of the car... up the tree then down in the
back of a lifted shortbed Chevy

Its 1:00 pm now, I should be heading up around 3 or 4 with my 3.0 megapixel cell phone camera(my web cam is higher res) :D to take as many pictures as I can before the sun goes down. If you guys want numbers besides whats on the motor you have to let me know exactly where to find them.
