Your photos will be very helpful in identifying what the hearse is.
Does it have Packard nameplates etc on it?

Pontiac also had a straight eight powered commercial chassis in those years which was popular with hearse builders, specifically Superior. They were less expensive than a Packard and were popular with small town funeral homes.
