Have you checked the value of your car lately?

According to the NADA guide, my 56 has climbed 40% in the last year. Looking at closed auctions on ebay I see more cars priced higher than last year, but I don't see them actually selling.

Is the price "guide" valid in any demonstrable way, or is it simply the product of wishful thinking?

Could you sell yours for it's posted value?
