Flex???? Just use any modern car/lite truck (of equal size) that u already own to compare dimensions of material used. Should not have to go any heavier than that.

NOTE that the F Explorer pedal assembly i'm using had thin nylon bushings in the pedal hinge which seems skimpy to me but it holds up just fine.

Use any modern or even not so modern production vehicle as a model for materials needs and applications. How could anyone go wrong with that????
