Thanks for the clarification, Owen. I noticed that about Falconer marine and aero engines, too. Wonder what applications they're talking about. The only engine I saw pictured was the "street rod" 12 with the SBC engine mounts. It was stated somehwhere else around here that there are some "roots" shared between the Packard V12 and the SBC. Cubic inch displacement for the Packard indicates a small-bore design. There are V8s out there with similar cid.
