Re: New Server

I had my web host correct a small issue today. I was getting a lot of emails bouncing back when forum notification were sent out or new folks tried to register. This was not happening all the time, but was happening on the same email hosts (sbcglobal for example). Those email servers use reverse DNS lookup to verify that the sending host is actually who they claim to be to help prevent spam, and when my IP address changed, the reverse DNS record did not get updated with my new address, so that lookup failed and the email was rejected by the users mail system.

This has been fixed now, so everyone should now be getting their email as before. This only affected a small amount of users were there email servers were doing this extra SPAM check. Everyone else should not have noticed anything wrong.
