Well, the top line of the grille is reminsicent of the traditional ox-yoke shape incorporated into the top of the classic grille - much like the upper grill bars (moldings) of the V8s.
Alas, the options for grille design are really limited with those concealed headlamps. This looks like a job for
Mahoning63!
