Re: What would you bring along for a 1200 mile drive?

Packard Club and Classic Car Club Directories!!
Voltage Regulator
electric fuel pump
floor jack (trust me, don't bother with a bottle or scissors jack)
Also, I highly suggest in addition to a fire extinguisher...
... a few two-liter bottles of diet un-cola sodas. If you have a bearing fire, which you probably won't, these come in extremely handy. Shake them up and squirt onto the area. The fire extinguisher will put the fire out, but won't cool the grease and will start right back up again. The diet soda will quench and cool. It has to be diet, though, as there is no sugar in it.

Also, directions to my house as I'd love to offer you a place to stay on your way through. If you dip on down to I-70, you go right past Dayton. It's a good place to stop, as there is a pretty nice Packard Museum downtown.

Or, you can stop by here on your way back to Texas.
