Box cover removed.
Inside is thick gritty, putty consistency debris - pretty solid in places (of course there was oil at the top).
Can this account for my problem?
I realize that a perfect clean-out would best be done by removal of the box, I really don't want to do that! Any alternative suggestions? ( I am manually removing stuff with forceps and wiping with solvent, but it is a slow process.)
