heli-coil vs. insert

During the second re-torque of my rebuilt 2106 (356), a head bolt has stripped at the block end. Some new studs are on their way.

I hope that chasing the threads in the block and a new stud will fix the issue, but I am expecting the worst and entertaining the possibility that I may be removing the head and fixing the threads in the block.

My question: which would be the better choice for this repair a heli-coil or insert?
