Gusha, did you read the thread (below) about Smokey Mountain tour buses by Packard? It goes back about 3 years. And also note this topic will be the subject of an article in an upcoming issue of PAC's quarterly publication.
Rather disappointingly I don't believe any solid information has yet surfaced about the coachbuilder of these units, and especially about the tandem rear axles on some units.
One of the units in now in Germany and is being given an extensive restoration - here are some photos, and thanks to Steve Bryson for them.packardclub.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3435
