The extended bumper brackets are a necessity for mounting a trunk rack setup. I used to have them reproduced, but my metalworker won't do any more, plus each year and model almost always have differences, typical Packard...
I have a pair that would explain the difference/dimensions if it would help, basically about 5" longer than your non-trunk rack supports, plus the holes to mount the rack brackets. At this point, I do not sell anything but complete rack setups because I have to piece them together over the years. Some people simply resort to welding extensions to regular supports and drilling the necessary holes...
