Hi Allen, I don't know if you are still looking for information on Packard A/C system, but I found this as I try to catch up on my magazine reading.
In Classic Car April 2017 magazine, it looks like a reprint story about Gen. MacArthur's 1942 Packard and it came with A/C. It looks like around 1968 a Don MacLellan of Dallas bought it.
