In some places putting a person on ice means to hide them. In others it means to kill them but in this case, I guess if the dearly departed rides in the back of that hearse laying inches above a layer of cracked ice there is a whole new meaning to the phrase.

Wonder what the cost comparison of the vehicles might be with the Henney being on a Packard chassis. Both were built in the same time frame but the Henney has a real refrigerated AC system under the floor even if it was a repackaged commercial unit vs the unit on a Buick chassis with cold air relying on a layer of cracked ice. Also be interesting to know the weight difference and how much ice is needed before each use.
