I believe this is at least the second time that prewar unit has been offered on ebay as I saved the same parts photos almost exactly a year ago. At the asking price, it appears there are not many takers even for such a complete unit.

It is interesting the compressor has a casting date of March 1945. Wonder if the compressor was an off the shelf refrigeration item that was made to go into a commercial refrigerator of the time or a service replacement item made for Packard (and maybe Cadillac) parts stock. Either way it would be nice to find a few of them laying around.
