Re: How does floating oil pickup float?

Here are some photos of the floating pickup. The upper part is a sealed chamber and the pickup tube passes through it to a dome in the lower part above the screen.
This one is from a 1951-54 engine with the FLOATO name and Taylor Sales stamped on the raised area in the middle.
