Auto Transport Companies

I'm considering the purchase of a Packard and having it shipped about 250 miles to my home. I would like advice about the companies that do this, as I have never hired a shipper and have heard horror stories about damage to cars during loading and unloading.

This is a nice car and as it's winter with roads salted heavily, I'd prefer an enclosed trailer.

Does anyone know of a safe and reliable shipping comppany?
