If you are so inclined, while the tank is out would be a good time to make a trunk access hole in case there are future sender issues. Sure saves a lot of aggravation by no longer needing to go thru the tank removal.

I don't remember the car he was working on at the time but Ross came up with and posted these dimensions some years ago. I didn't find his original post but believe it was a 51-4 model. I think the dimensions are virtually the same for 51-6 since the tanks are the same. Several have made the opening in their cars since then. Covered neatly with a plate and if the trunk mat is still present to lay over the area, the opening will never be seen.
