Yeah, I think that the PS location would still be the best as there are already mounting locations for it on the block. Plus it will keep the modern compressor out of direct view, and keep it away from the heat of the manifold. But if someone already had PS, then this is a interesting way of doing it on the manifold side. I wonder if they are using the foward manifold bolt for the other side of that compressor base plate.
