The '53/'54 A/C units mounted in the trunk and blew up through the package tray. I believe the trunk units were made by Frigidaire. '53 was the first year for Packard A/C after WWII.

Yes, and always easy to identify these cars from the exterior by the two air intake scuppers on the rear fenders.
