On the photo in the first page of this thread there was a bit of discussion about the transmission at the center which I have just identified by chance! It is 1951-1954 senior Henney-Packard including the commercial vehicles and the long wheelbase passenger cars. They had the the Mechanics-type flange that included an adapter to the Spicer u-joint. I am not sure why they didn’t use a Spicer to Spicer u-joint but I guess they wanted them to all be the same which, according to the parts book, they are.
