For those wanting to add AC to a 55-6 the factory bracket is a good start if you cannot find an aftermarket flat plate type such as ARA used and probably cheaper and easier than starting from scratch.
Since the factory bracket formed the bottom of the Lehigh compressor the extra circle of holes in the bracket do not line up to be directly useful but by using an intermediate plate to transition between the bracket and a universal York to Sanden adapter you can easily mount a modern compressor. If Gerry does not have the idler pulley setup that goes with the bracket used to adjust and guide the belt over the fan pulley then you will need to find or fabricate something.
