Iceland's last Presidential Packard was a 1955 or 1956 Patrician, I have the numbers on it somewhere. The car proved so troublesome and unreliable that it was quickly returned. The Packard Club has a member in Iceland (Sigurbjorn Helgason) who has occasionally visited these pages, perhaps he will see this and fill us in on the history of the several Icelandic governmental Packards. Last time I was in Iceland I got a great tour of the countryside by Helgason in his 1955 Clipper.
