I have seen 2 different patterns used in 1955 for the front.
The one shown I’ll call the comb over cut. The other one is the one seen in the 56 Packards that have a crescent moon cut over the transmission tunnel.

I have only seen the crescent moon cut in the original 55 Caribbean pictures I have seen.

I was hoping the original blue 55 Caribbean would help in this, but nothing yet.

The carpet pattern for the 55 and 56 Caribbean’s are different. The 56 front seat is the big reason.

I tried getting blueprints from the PPG and the Studebaker National Museum, but they do not exist.

These pictures are from what was left from a 55 400.
