Rubber valve stems

1955 Clipper wheels have larger holes than modern car wheels for replacement valve stems. So the tire store says they can only supply valve stems that are normally used on heavy truck wheels and the valve stems are TOO long. The old valve stems I took off the wheels were only 1 inch and this is the profile I am desiring. WHERE CAN YOU PURCHASE THE SHORTER VALVE STEMS?
