Dave, I used Shell Rotella and CCCA's Classic Car Motor Oil in the 15W-40 weight in the engines of my 37, 47 and 55 Packards. Transmission and Overdrive 85W-140 GL-1 gear oil. Differential same weight, but a GL-5 rated oil. Don't put GL-1 in the differential. Others here will most likely have other suggestions.
