As others have said, you'll need to change the vibrator. For the capacitors, do a visual check at least. Make sure the radio is COVERED when you turn it on (after vibrator or capacitor replacement) so you won't get sprayed if the capacitors burst. May be good to get a capacitor tester.

IMHO if you want a good restoration of it you'll probably want to just replace all the capacitors. Values should be on the schematic, and just make sure you match the polarities. Then you won't have to worry about faulty capacitors for the next couple decades. Shouldn't be terribly difficult if you're proficient in soldering.
