Engine # should be on the driver's side, front "leg" where it attaches to the frame.

Vehicle # should be on the vehicle # plate, or patent plate, see enclosed photo. Should be on the engine side of the cowl; if not look on the passenger side above the clutch and brake pedals.

Big embossed # on the cowl is more a matter of personal curiousity as it will only identify the year, but would be useful for some research I'm doing.

Measure the wheelbase, distance between the center of the front and center of the rear wheel on either side.

Appears to be a factory-built body but check for a coachbuilder's ID plate, often on the driver's side between the hood and the front door, down low. Sometimes on the door sills.
