Re second question:

I have not found any master cylinder less than 13/16 bore.
Another problem is MC piston stroke. NOTE that hte BTV has LONG stroke thus the 1:1 stock Packard pedal ratio.

ALSO any Power Unit used will need to have a long stoke to accomodate any small bore MC with a long stroke to preserve the 1:1 pedal ratio.
