<p>When you do finally order MPB's custom BTV replacement, it would probably be helpful for them to include this picture to illustrate the fitment problem:</p>

<p>An 8in diameter diaphram could be used if one were willing to locate the pedal rod 1/2in lower than stock. This may possibly let one use a slightly thicker diaphram so that a dual diaphram unit could be fitted possibly obviating the need for a reengineered pedal assembly. Only trial fit will tell the tale.</p>
