Absolutely.
Take this car for instance:
1956 Clipper Now, we've all seen this exact same car listed on ebay for the past 4+ years. Same general price, same condition. We ALL know that this is a $400 car at best, and it would bring that as a parts car, but this guy seems to think he's stumbled onto a goldmine and wants decent driver money for basically a pile of scrap that should be parted out.
Here's another one, a 1952 200, same story:
1952 200 $300 at best, no more. By the time you spend the time and money to get this back to your garage, you've easily spent $800-$1000 on a parts car.
Then there's this guy, with a '30 3 window coupe body that's rusty and missing
EVERYTHING for $1800. Back end cut off and doors welded shut. $200
TOPS for anyone with common sense.
1930 3 window body $18,900 for a 1955
CLIPPER four door? What planet are you from, really?
1955 Clipper Then we have $4000 for this, a plain-Jane 1950 Packard 4 door sedan.
1950 4 door I really don't understand why, it needs everything and isn't a special model or bodystyle. And I LOVE how they spray painted the seats, lol!
I can go on and on about this, but I think everyone gets the idea. I do know that when I want to buy something I have to pay top dollar, but if I'm trying to sell something, it ain't worth shit to anyone.
