I don't know much about the PC world.

The parts catalougs are stored as a PDF????? I'm assuming that's some kind of file, data set or data base or what ever it's called in the PC world. Everything to me is a FILE.

Part numbers on the pages occur in positions 1 thru 10 (or there-abouts). Seems to me that there should be some kind of PC application or MSFT WORD utility that could read each line (record) of the PDF ignoring everything past the 10 character from the left.Positions 1-10 is the part numbers.
