I can't really see the front fender while driving, so I think that tends to make me automatically line up my lane position with the side of the hood.

I've found from my position seated position, I need to sight-line up the hood ornament with the white road line on the right. If I do that, then I am in the middle of the lane.

I'm sure it will get better over time. But I understand now why some cars have fender markers installed.


They were an authorized 37 accessory. Of course unless you have a large dog or constantly stand nearby, on a car today they would probably last about as long as it takes the first juvenile delinquent in training to walk by and snap them off.
