Being in the business i've noticed that if you read your logs and pay attention to your equipment, you'll usually know about the problem and possibly have it fixed before the customer even knows.

But in reality, we're usually running around doing other stuff and never have a chance to look for problems that are coming down the pipe, being to busy with current ones.

So, yeah. Irate messages.
