Yes to all. The immediate 500 psi and less pedal force is the pedal falling away effect when you start the engine. I jacked it back up to just over 100 to keep the same pedal number but overshot slightly.

Do plan on doing the 7 single with 2 or 3 different ratios but same other conditions. Main difference will be in the 1" master cylinder diameter so will be interesting. 7" dual as well, but when and if sort of depends on how the single 7 compares to original.
