What voltage is everyone ACTUALLY running while the car is started? I took my generator and regulator to a professional rebuild shop and they rebuilt the generator for me and adjusted the regulator to put out 7.2 volts while running.

Is everyone else in that neighborhood? I would think you would want to slightly over-charge, like 14.5v in a 12v system. If so, you'd be damn close to 7.5v anyway, or you could adjust your regulator to run there.
