ok. We know that the gauge uses a 1/4" rod. IF the hole in the MC piston is 5/16" diameter (ergo assuming a 5/16" radius at bottom of hole) then the 1/4 inch gauge rod as is should yield the .030 extra travel and therefore no need for readjustment or compensation after it has been set.


EDIT: Not .030 extra travel but more like .062 extra travel.
