Not sure how to close these posts but wanted everyone to know that we got an engine out of Maryland. Shipping was a nightmare though, but eventually the engine arrived in TN. Swapped the manifold, valve covers and lifters from the old engine onto this one from Maryland. May have swapped more stuff too but would have to check with the mechanic. Anyway, the engine fired up and Dad's been driving it around. Drove it to a car show 100+ miles away over last weekend. Now he needs brakes. I swear the car would be awesome if I had about $10k and willing mechanics. Anyway, thanks for all the help.
