If no partition it is likely a side loader (Henney called those Nu-3-Way) and they were available either with a manually operated or a hydraulically operated table and either was available with side to side loading (called LevelDraulic). If there was no pillar between the front doors and the rear, then definitely a side loader!

You're right, the rear doors are huge and because of the coach's proportions, even the front doors were wide but didn't look it. They were the same with as a 2-door Packard passenger car such as the one this thread is supposed to be about. Funeral cars are called coaches.

Yes, it is a 1952 but has a 1951 grille or at least appears to have one as the Packard crest is not there and I can't see its outline or attaching holes.
