Re: WANTED 1937 120-C vent window regulator

Vent window frame is aligned as best as I could get it. I did use my hand to try to guide the window open and close, but forgot to use silicone or rubber dressing on the rubber at first. I however did apply some after the fact. Unfortunately I was testing it inside and did not take it out in the sun to soften or conform to sit lower. I've been installing my new windows and vent windows and wanted to make sure it worked correctly before putting back everything together. Fortunately the drivers side works with no issue even with some slight resistance on the rubber. However that gear is the original cast aluminum, so it's a lot harder and doesn't give. Maybe I should've tested it after having it in the sun for some time. Unfortunately it's too late for that for this gear. Hopefully I'll be able to find an original. Thanks for the advise for future reference.
