I guess I don't understand your question, as previously noted by Mal the 1502 was only available in a single wheelbase, 139".

For V8 Caribbean fans, a couple of snaps from the Packards East region's picnic this summer. Two 56 Caribbean convertibles, both in paint code MES, and a 2392. Caribbeans belong to Ole Book in front, this writer's just astern. The second photo is my Caribbean alongside Dan Kanter's mostly original 1955.

Thanks I think I'll see if I can get it to play before I dive into replacing all the caps. Have ordered a solid state vibrator and a new buffer cap.

Thanks for the kind words. Mr. Heinmuller and Mr. Dawes are the real heroes. They did the hard work and were willing to share.

Just looked over earlier posts. This is the same car that Clyde from Graham, WA had looked at. Owner said that he had obtained it at Lemay auction in Tacoma. Price had been reduced. There had been some body work done to areas above rear tailights (new metal) so a restoration was started. A shame the inside and floors didn't hold up as well as exterior. No sure about engine...that will be deciding factor in where I head with this project. I suspect that I may have a pink and blue Packard some day.
Both cars have about 70,000 miles on odometer. Gauges and switches all seem to work.
