Try it now JW. I just had to change the username to match your new one, and now it should work just fine.

Re: 1950 Packard (New owner) (can't keep engine running)

Just can't stay away

Hi, I am currently having the same problem with my '50. I too can keep it running as long as I keep the flow of ether/gas to the carb. I am getting fuel from both jets, however when I removed the filter from the carb and cranked the engine, the fuel came in surges. Is this normal for a dual action pump ?
Is there a filter in the fuel pump that may be restricting flow ? This engine does not have a filter except for the inline that I put in the line under the vehicle. (bypassed an electric pump that I don't think works anymore). Rebuilt the carb earlier to upgrade the seals etc. Possible it is a low float level but the flow seems suspect. Can anyone help ? Thanks OTG

Here is another dummy that would like to edit his owner registry entry. I moved, changed ISP, changed E-mail, changed E-mail name, and while I was at it changed Packard Info sign in name and password. The car is shown with my old name. How do I update my registry with my current sign-in name and password? I apologize for using so much bandwidth on this.

OK, Guess I should stop being a cheapo. It is already "cheap" if I'm doing the work myself...

What is the actual (modern) address of the Grand Ave factory? (More specifically where the "Packard" door is located). I am asking as I was not sure if anything (street name, number changes) had changed since Packard occupied the building.
I am hoping to get over there Wednesday afternoon.
