The rear fenders don't look the same to me from the before pictures and the now picture?? Maybe it is the angle....

The front isn't the same either. The BAT writeup says that the front and rear of the car was reworked at some point.

Not Craigslist, but on Bring a Trailer auction....
"This custom sports special is said to have been built by Bill Miller in 1954 using the shortened chassis of a 1938 Packard seven-passenger limousine with power from an overbored Packard V12."

Packard V12 Bill Miller Special

First two pics are "then", and third pic is "now".

Hmmm.....it is a really nice shop but there is too much unused space. Looks like you need to fill it up with more Packards and Packard parts Kevin!!

I just received a PM from someone who also must be 'signed up' to the site with the handle being 'Lindi' wanting to 'find like-minded friends' The avatar is a sexy looking gal??? Obviously nothing Packard-related there. Scammers are everywhere! Chris.

I got a PM from 'Lindi' also. Tried to forward it to BigKev but couldn't figure out how to forward a PM......??

Hopefully BigKev or one of the moderators will see this thread and take action.

Yeah looks pretty nice inside. Outside would be nice driver condition if shined up.

I don't see where any A/C parts or vents are though.

Yeah, I wondered about the a/c stuff too, but am not familiar with what the parts would have looked like.

From Facebook Marketplace, '53 Patrician in Fort Wayne IN, $9500 (not mine): Marketplace Patrician
Looks like it might clean up really nice, ad says a/c, power windows, radio, automatic, new brakes.

Hi, I know you apparently are trying to determine what your rear axle came out of. If it's a Chevy truck with closed driveline, it's probably from around 1940 thru 1954. If it is, there are a lot of folks who have those trucks and switched to a 3.55:1 ring and pinion. Here are a couple of sites that may or may not help you:

www.chevsofthe40s.com (go to 'Rear Axle' section)

Wonder if it has overdrive? Usually I check for the OD relay box in underhood pics, but no underhood pics included.
