Interesting mix of OD green paint scheme and chrome, whitewall ties, etc.
Look under the hood, inside door jams, eetc., as military purchased staff cars after auto production was stopped tok cars already assembled and painted and painted the exterior only OD green. Anything not seen from the outside was left alone.
Ours is some sort of silver or grey paint in those areas.
Here are our fender skirts.

Probably confusing, but the pics are of the front end of the car as it arrived, one of the 47 grill that came with the car and one with the 42 grill that we obtained
Numbers from the donor car:

Body Number: 2112-22185
Vehicle Number: 2112-22635
Date of Delivery: 9-3-47

Picked this up and won't need it for our 42 Clipper project as we have the correct one for that car. So need to find a home for this one. Light pitting throughout, but solid as pics show. Prices are all over the place as is condition, so priced this one to move out. $50 plus shipping from Atlanta, GA

Here is the donor vehicle that we are under the impression is a 47 series 21 Clipper 120 in wheelbase. We have a 42 grill that bolts in place, but thought that this donor also has wiskers.

I do know that Packard providey cars to the war effort as staff cars. And, telling the President of the Georgia Military Vehicle Preservation Association to "not muck it up with war memorabilia" is going to go in one ear and out the other.

So, which model is this a photo of? This is the look we are trying to replicate.

New to the Packard world, so may not know all the vendors or panel players. Putting 47 Clipper 21 series 120 wheelbase back as a 42 Ike staff car. Got front floor pans from C2C but I need the entire trunk floor including the spare well, all is rotted through. C2C does not offer anything. Since I will probably cover with flock or carpet or mat, I can get away with just a sheet metal flat main floor trunk pan, but the spare tire well is beyond my fabrication skills. Any leads on a replacement trunk floor or suggestion to move forward. It will not be museum quality, so worse case scenario is flatt metall all the way and just lay the spare in flat using the original threaded rod, disk and thumbscrew, but if I can get a little close to correct, I will strive to do so.

Update...got two drums coming from Tucson. Waiting to connect with WA for the wheel offer. Went out and measured my wheelbase...yes, 120". Hope Ike doesn't notice.

Mike, I will call you today after the time zones catch up. Shipping will be to 30187 and I hope one drum will fit in flat rate large box.
Not to turn this into a project threadm but here is my starting point.
