Hey guys, What are the best plug wires to use on my 54 Clipper? I put new do it yourself wires on, carbon fibre, is this wrong or should it have the solid metal core type?

You answer my questions before I ask them, your good. First was what an ez out looked like and if Lowes would have them, and second, if my drill on reverse would work. Now we are making progress !! Thanks. I will update my post after I aquire completion. Thanks again to everybody for the help. I hope I can help in return sometime.

Well, I got a carburetor kit from Daytona. I had the carb partially disassembled and soaking in cleaner. Now the problem is...the needle valve assembly for the float broke off flush to the white metal of the housing. I did not force it, it turned fine for almost a turn and just snapped off. Where it's located, in the top and between the float supports, I can't get to it with anything to try to remove it. So my carburetor is now junk, isn't it? Should I try to find another one to rebuild? Is this one now deemed an unacceptable core? What do I do now? How can I fix it, or can I? This car has been a night mare to work on.

Hey guys. I'm redoing the upholstery in my Packard. The rear package shelf seems to be several layers of painted cardboard. It dissentegrated when I tried to take it out. Anyone know if someone is reproducing them? I have spent several hours looking on line with no luck today. There isn't enough left of the original to make a pattern off of it. Any help is always appreciated.
