We have taken a vote around the house and would like to find a decent driver 1941 120 coupe, sans sidemounts, if possible. But that could wait unless someone made us an offer we don' refuse.

This guy has this car back up again. 1947 Super Clipper sedan for $15K. It's the one that started out at $9K in the Florida panhandle last fall. Went to Lakeland and went up to $14K or so, and now in Lynchburg for another grand just for good measure. It still has the same Mexican blanket front seat cover, likely also for good measure. The least he could do is quit using the Florida pics from the $14K ad and take some new ones, the lazy f&*%.

Mine is not wrapped. It is on a very high shelf and out of the way of Periodic Feline Inspections. Fred will have to make do looking at it. I have a couple of substantial things in front of it so it cannot tip forward and fall off said very high shelf.
Wat has some very serious very high shelving.

I haven't used oven cleaner but I have used that very strong no-scrub bathroom cleaner on things that are hard to clean, like car wheels. It will etch aluminum. So today, I stick with Dawn and a good ol' toilet bowl brush.
I'm having good luck with Evaporust for rust removal, but it won't do anything with grease. I guess it ain't Evapogrease.

I bought one from Missouri for about $100 maybe three months ago. This one’s auction is almost up. Let’s see what becomes of it after that.
